Chief Executive Officer at Business Leadership South Africa, Busisiwe Mavuso says big business welcome the decision by the South African government to move the lockdown from level four to level three as announced by President Ramaphosa on Sunday night. Speaking to SAFM radio on Monday morning she described the easing of lockdown restrictions as the right move.
President Ramaphosa announced that most businesses in the country will resume operations when level three of the coronavirus lockdown gets underway on June first – but some categories will remain closed including bars and sit-in restaurants.
However delivery services will continue from restaurants and fast food outlets. Ramaphosa was addressing the country from Pretoria.
