Today (01 June) sees South Africa gradually opening up the economy in its response to COVID-19 pandemic which has forced this country to be locked into a two month nationwide Lockdown. South Africa’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The move to Level 3 of the lockdown meant about 8 million people returned to work.
The big question is will the gradual opening of the economy makes any difference given the dire state the country is in?. BLSA CEO Busisiwe Mavuso spoke to Unfiltered on SABC to express business views and share how this Lockdown has impacted on the SA’s economy.
